A Japanese term I came across recently meaning ‘improvement’. The idea is through routinely applying small and sustainable incremental changes over a long period, you can attain significant improvements.
I remember this often, breaking down my personal goals into manageable everyday micro actions is what led to establishing this creative and therapeutic outlet.

Gratitude and Appreciation
In a chaotic and bustling environment, we often forget to stop and take a minute to appreciate all the comforts in our daily lives, the privilege of waking up everyday in a warm and comfortable bed, a safe environment, a steamy hot shower, the time we spend with loved ones.
Gratitude and appreciation are some of the highest vibrational frequencies we can attain, sustaining these feelings can sometimes be challenging.
This morning, I thought about how peaceful the tweets of birds are, reminding me it’s a new day, another opportunity to continue my journey of personal and spiritual growth.
Take one minute of each day to journal at least one aspect of your life that you are grateful for, no matter how small it may be, someone else can only dream of your everyday comforts.
